Recently ordered from them through UberEats.
AMAZING.
Really good, thin woodfire pizza with original ingredients. We got one called the Hot Bee I believe, with sopresatta, honey, and red chili flakes. Then we also got another that was a "white" pizza with gorgonzola and mushrooms. They were a perfect size too for a personal pizza; so you can also order several and share with friends. We also ordered a ceasar salad that slightly over-dressed, but overall surprisingly good with a dressing that uses real anchovies.
I can't wait to go and eat there too, it looks very cozy. -

I had been here before the new owners took over and was not impressed. NOW that is has changed hands I can see that having a good owner certainly makes a difference.
They remodeled and there is plenty of seating with a patio (yes fans and covered) The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The food was way better and I was surprised to find out that the pasta there is brought in from one of my favorite pasta places in town.
TREVI PASTA (college park) provides the fresh pasta for this location.
Woodfire pizza is also tasty and they have specials and even a BRUNCH menu. I definitely recommend checking this place out for Lunch, Dinner , Brunch or all three ! -

Another good addition to the Hourglass District. I admit I'm pretty partial to a certain other Neapolitan pizza place down the street, but F&D pizzas hold their own too. I also like that they have pasta and other meals as alternatives to pizza. I've been there twice now. The first time we got the calamari, margherita pizza, the roasted veggie pizza, and garlic bread. The calamari was standard. Maybe it's just my personal taste, and I am indifferent to fried calamari. I prefer the more stewed style calamari soaked in red sauce. It wasn't bad though and my date seemed to enjoy it. The garlic bread was good. Thinly sliced bread as opposed to big slight knots. Their tomato sauce it comes with is really tasty. The pizzas were really good too. Again, the margherita pizza wasn't mind-blowing, although it was still really good. But that's also what you get when you choose a more plain, basic pizza off the menu. Some of the meat pizzas sounded really good, but I was being pescatarian-friendly for my guest. The veggie pizza was really good. A lot of big chunks of fresh vegetables on a pizza Bianca. Really fresh and super garlicky if you're into that. Make sure you have some mints after dinner! Lol. The second time we tried the mussels, shrimp scampi, and the cacio e pepe. The mussels were delicious. Nice portion and really fresh. The pasta dishes were also pretty good, but a bit on the rich/savory side. I felt like I could tell by the taste there was probably a lot of butter and salt in it, and although delicious, had me a little self-conscious of how indulgent I was being. I really wish they had a few more options on their menu, perhaps a lighter pasta option like an olive oil/wine based sauce with cherry tomatoes, greens, and maybe some clams and shrimp tossed in.
The only negative comment I have at the moment is that on both occasions, I ordered a daily special, and when I got the bill, it was still charged at the full rate. It wasn't a big deal and both times the server was very apologetic about it and fixed it right away, but I always feel a bit awkward contesting bills. It didn't ruin my experience though. That being said, the prices aren't alarming, but a meal for 2 still ended up costing $100 both times, which does seem a little on the pricier side compared to some other similar places.
Overall, a good experience and I'd go back. -

Stopped in today with my boyfriend after eyeing this spot on yelp for a couple weeks! There is a cozy and intimate atmosphere as soon as you walk in and it was not busy on a Saturday at about 1pm. We ordered the Queen Bee and Cacio e Pepe. Our pizza was well cooked and had the perfect slight char classic to neopolitan pizza. We did feel like it was a little lackluster in flavor as I pretty much only tasted the meat and a small amount of honey, I could not see or taste any chili flake and the basil was a bit sparse. We still enjoyed the pizza but were underwhelmed for $15. Our pasta was delicious! Always a fan of cacio e pepe but this was super creamy and loved that there was lots of pepper. Finished lunch with their tiramisu which I immediately knew was made in house and it was so soo good! Loved the local feel and we will definitely be back!

I was torn on how to review this place because I found good aspects and some that weren't great in my opinion. I settled on a three and plan to try it again so maybe there will be an update later. I've been wanting to try it for a long time, so I may have just hyped myself up a lot!
So let's start with the good: reservations are apparently recommended which I didn't think to do on a weeknight, but will note in the future. However, we were fortunate to still be seated immediately which was awesome. Service remained quick which is a huge perk in my book! Our server, Dina, was really nice and checked on us regularly. So definitely an A for service. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but it has a nice ambience and they have an extended, air conditioned patio area to accommodate more guests.
For food, my boyfriend ordered a Bianca pizza and I chose chicken parmesan. We also got an order of garlic bread. The garlic bread was really good, though a bit of a small order for the price. I had asked up front if their marinara sauce had onions and was told it didn't. Unfortunately, it did, or at least tasted like and appeared to, so that made my chicken Parmesan not as enjoyable. Had I known for sure, I would have ordered something else. The good parts were that the chicken was cooked perfectly and had a good flavor and I liked the freshly made pasta. The sauce just put a damper on it. I tasted my boyfriend's pizza and found it to be really greasy so I didn't like that much either though the crust was good. From what I've heard and reviews that I've read, I was just expecting more from the food.
I'll likely return to try the mushroom pappardelle because it was one of the items I was thinking of trying and I'll see how I feel about that. The good and quick service is enough to make me want to give this place another chance.
